Underlight is a vertical puzzle-platformer set in a minimalist vision of hell, where your only way out is up. There’s no combat—just skill, timing, and problem-solving. Every jump matters, because one wrong move can send you tumbling back down.

The gameplay blends classic platforming mechanics—double jumps, wall jumps, precision movement—with puzzle-solving elements like pushing or breaking boxes, and navigating time-based parkour sections. Each level is designed to test your awareness, coordination, and memory, without ever feeling unfair.

A key twist is the inclusion of a second character that you control simultaneously. Their unique ability reveals hidden platforms, forcing you to think ahead and manage both characters at once. This tag-team dynamic adds a fresh layer of strategy and complexity to each puzzle.

To lighten the tone, the characters share occasional banter as you progress—injecting a bit of humor into the otherwise oppressive world.

Underlight isn’t about fighting enemies or collecting power-ups. It’s about mastering movement, climbing your way out of the depths, and not giving up when you fall.

How high can you get before hell pulls you back down?
